Privacy Policy
Last updated: [September, 2026]
Taste with Tash (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
When you use our Contact form, we collect: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the service(s) you're interested in, your event date (if provided), and any details you share in your message.
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address (and any other fields included in that signup form).
Like most websites, our site (built on Squarespace) uses cookies to operate core functionality, such as remembering your session as you browse. We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta/Instagram pixel).
How We Use Your Information
• Respond to your inquiry and discuss your event or service needs
• Send you newsletter updates about events, offerings, and curated experiences, if you've signed up
• Process bookings and deposits for confirmed services
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your information may be shared with third-party services that help us operate our business, specifically:
• Squarespace, which hosts our website, processes our Contact form submissions, and sends our newsletter emails
• Squarespace Payments, if you pay a deposit or balance via Paylink
We do not share your information with any other third parties except where required by law.
E-Transfer Payments
If you choose to pay by e-transfer instead of Paylink, that payment is handled directly through your own banking provider and is not processed through our website.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for (e.g., completing a booking, or for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter). You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
Your Rights
You may:
• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time (a link is included in every email)
• Request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal or business record-keeping requirements
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Contact page.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including relying on Squarespace's built-in security measures (such as SSL/HTTPS encryption) for data submitted through our site.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
